MacLean of Duart Weathered Lambswool Tartan is a soft red and olive green base with blue, yellow, white and charcoal overchecks. This clan held extensive lands in the Western Isles and mainland of the Highlands. The MacLeans followed the MacDonalds, Lords of the Isles, and fought at the Battle of Harlaw in 1411. They became powerful but declined in influence in the 16th century.
