Scottish Borderland Lambswool Blanket is an olive-based tartan with royal blue, cream and mustard overchecks.

The original Scottish Borderland tartan was designed by Alistair Buchan the previous owner of Locharron of Scotland in 1996, and was inspired by the colours of the Scottish Borders landscape, the blues and greys of the River Tweed running through the region and soft greens that blankets the hills from Peebles across to the east coast, this tartan is a district tartan and therefore does not have a clan chief. Home to clans such as the Elliots and the Scotts, relationships between Border Clans would vary from uneasy alliances to open, deadly feud.
